Ndidi had always been a remarkably healthy child and his mother was thankful for that. While other kids were catching different forms of illnesses, he stayed clean and healthy.
So, the first day he came down with malaria, his mum was frantic and she didn’t know what to do. Her constantly strong and jovial boy was suddenly weak and feverish.
With her other children, she could always tell what was wrong but it was Ndidi’s first time being ill and so she didn’t know what to do, she decided to rush him to the hospital.
That was the day Ndidi got treated for the first time, received injections and ultimately, spent a day at the hospital.
