Nat wondered how people could so easily make promises they had no real intention of keeping. For him, he considered promises to be sacred and didn’t make them often.
The first time he made a promise to a girl that he would love her forever, he kept that promise and he never looked back.
All around him he saw people saying things they didn’t mean and hurting people they cared about in the process.
He wished there was something he could do, but there wasn’t, all he could really do was keep his own promises and hope that those around him did the same.
