The memories I have of the house I grew up in are priceless. I remember every room, the arrangement of the cupboard, the feel of the curtains and the sounds of the doors.
Growing up, I never imagined that I could live anywhere else, then I didn’t even understand that the house we lived in wasn’t ours. Yet as an adult, far away from that place that was once my home, I still feel like there is a part of me that still considers that place home.
I know its weird to still feel connected to a place you haven’t lived in for almost 10 years but I do. I miss even the tiny little things like the trees and the flowers. I miss my childhood home.
