I had always loved acting, I was practically the entertainer of the house, so I decided to push myself and do it mainstream.
I heard about an audition happening not far from my house and decided to go. I dressed nicely and set out with my picture as the info had stated.
I got there early and I was surprised when I met a large crowd there. I was asked to put down my name and I did, number 54.
So I sat there waiting and preparing my monologue. When it got to my turn, I went in. There were five judges seated staring at me and I froze.
I really can’t remember what happened next, I just remember hearing them say, “thank you, we’ll get back to you”. It’s been four years and I still haven’t heard back.
