Jane despised rich people, she thought they were all over-entitled snubs who didn’t deserve what they had, so she stayed away from all of them.
She had grown up with barely enough and so she knew the value of having money and the things it could get you and she wanted it all.
She had been part of the invisible ones in school, while the rich kids ran everything and acted like everyone else didn’t exist and it made her mad.
Her ideology wasn’t selfish, she wanted money but not so much that she became like the people she despised, but just enough to be able to cater for herself and those around her.
